Major improvement works to a run-down community centre, for people with special needs.

The work included a new reception area for greeting users, refurbishment of community spaces, and ensuring the removal of asbestos. The internal layout was rationalized and a new extension built to house activity rooms. The existing dilapidated courtyard was leveled to improve access and finished with level walkways and a grass lawn.

The whole building was brought into line with DDA regulations, by placing new ramps, wider doors and brand new toilet/shower facilities. M1 installed all new internal features, including furnishings/sanitary ware and kitchens.

The front entrance of the building was also given a facelift, with new fencing and signage to improve visibility in the neighborhood and to present a more pleasant aspect onto the street.

The Primary School is comprised of 2/3 storeys with tarmacadam and concrete play arrears.
The site areas contain dining rooms, kitchen and upper hall area which were to remain in use during the course of the project.

construction of a lift block.
